PAN or Permanent Account Number is an alpha-numeric code which acts as an identification for those filing income tax with the government. The PAN Card contains this PAN code and has other details of the applicant. How to Apply Pan Card Online

Online process of applying for a PAN card in Uttar Pradesh:

  • There are two websites where one can apply for PAN Card, that is, https://www.utiitsl.com/UTIITSL_SITE/pan/ or https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html.
  • Select the ‘New Pan’ option and choose the 49A form meant for Indian citizens.
  • Fill in all the required details correctly. Revise before submission.
  • Once revised, submit the application form and pay the required fees.
  • Print the page and note the 15-digit acknowledgment number received.
  • If you are selecting DD as a payment option, attach the identity and address proof along with your passport sized photograph.
  • Send the form to the NSDL Office. The post must reach the office within 15 days of the filing of the online
  • You will receive the PAN Card within 15 working days.

The offline process of applying for a PAN card in Uttar Pradesh:

  • For the offline application of PAN Card, visit the following links to download the PAN Card application form. To get it from NSDL, click https://www.tin-nsdl.com/downloads/pan/downloads-pan.html. Click https://www.utiitsl.com/UTIITSL_SITE/pan/%23one to get it from UTTISL.
  • Fill all the required details in the form correctly and attach all the mentioned documents which will serve as address proof, identity proof with the passport size photograph.
  • Submit the form to NSDL office along with the required processing fees.
  • You will receive the PAN Card within 15 working days.
  • To find the PAN center near you in Uttar Pradesh, follow the link: https://www.tin-nsdl.com/pan-center.html. You will get the address according to the area selected.
